People have been finding ways to be fit. In fact, various exercises techniques and gyms are getting very popular nowadays. Fitness is an asset. It simply shows that one is healthy inside and out. There have been many introduced products and services which promise to give one a fit body. Drinks, food supplements, gadgets, etc. have been developed and offered to the market that can contribute to fitness in one way or another.

Before you decide which one you would stick to, you have to first consider that taking on any kind of exercise technique is the best thing you can do to achieve a fit body; whether losing or gaining weight, exercise is still known to be the best and most effective way.

Let us say that you want to lose weight. It is a reality that most people exert effort to exercise because they want to lose weight, look attractive, healthy, feel good, and most of all, fit. But most people are impatient to continue the training. They find going to the gym, taking pills, and dieting exhausting and that is why most people give up even before they see the results.

For this, there is a great way to be fit through one simple exercise technique. Do you know that walking is a great form of exercise? It can promise you guaranteed fitness. Why? It is because walking allows all the extremities to move. Whether brisk walking or fast walking, at least 15 minutes a day will definitely make a difference.

If you are going to a grocery to buy goods, you walk, right? That is already a form of exercise technique. You can also do some simple stretching while walking. It can provide you guaranteed results.

So as you can see exercising doesn’t have to be a daunting process of hard work, long and fatigues run, or heavy lifting and sore muscles, you can get fit just by taking a nice walk while breathing deeply and concentrating on your body and mind.

=> What’s you favorite exercise technique? Please leave a comment and share your exercise experiences

So how do we determine the number of sets and Repetitions someone should do during one session for optimal muscle and fitness exercise results? It is important to understand the principals involved in Repetitions and sets to tailor a workout plan that suits the individuals in order to achieve certain results. Here are the seven most important points to determine the number of sets and repetitions:

1. The number of repetitions is one very important factor to consider, so if training with low repetitions you must do more sets to achieve the best results for strength development.

2. Also important during a muscle and fitness workout session is the number of exercises, for example if you perform many exercises you need less sets, and if you do less exercises you need more sets for optimal results.

3. The level of training is another factor and usually one or two sets per muscle and fitness exercise are sufficient for new comers.

4. The gender will also play an important factor in muscle and fitness exercises, for example women perform more repetitions than man, usually a woman will repeat 17 times while a man will repeat 12 times.

5. Muscle size also contributes to the number of sets, and the number of sets is inversely proportionate to the size of the muscle, small muscles are able to handle more sets and recover quicker, when big muscle should go under smaller number of sets as their recovery time is longer.

6. As there are a number of programs available and as individuals are all different, the number of sets performed should be tailored to the person doing the exercise, as some individuals will get their results by performing high number of sets while others will perform small number of sets, it all depends from the individuals and common sense should be the final judge.

7. Muscle put under continuous strain get tired and performance is reduced, so as you move forward you will be able to perform fewer repetitions to the point where the muscle fails. A good indication of muscle failure is when the drop of repetitions between sets drops by two or three, at this point it is useless to try and do more sets if there is no resistance, this would cause more arm than good, again common sense would dictate the number of sets and repetitions.

=> What did you think about this post? have you got anything to add to it?

PS: I Learned most of this stuff from the 7 Minutes Muscle program where you can build the Body You Want in Just 7 Minutes a Day

In this post I want to just outline a few words on muscles exercise complexity and how important it is to understand the complexity of the exercise performed.

In fact it is very important to take into consideration, and to understand, the complexity of the exercises performed, especially if an exercise engages multiple joints in which case it is inappropriate to do excessive Repetitions as the results produced would be undesirable because some muscles would get tired first causing a modification of the overall exercise and the modus operandi.

These factors are particularly important when deciding and designing a gym routine, it is important to understand the muscle structure and complexity of exercise before deciding how many Repetitions someone should perform, and how many sets all together.

When we talk about muscle and fitness exercise sets, what we are really saying is how many groups of consecutive repetitions we are going to do. One set can be considered finished when we change the kind of exercise we’re performing or when we take a long rest between groups of exercises. The definition of one terrific set is when we perform two exercises on different muscle groups continuously, equating to two sets. A massive set is three exercises for the same muscle group done continuously. Sets which go down, in which practically there is no rest taken between the different weights, are considered the same as one set.

So as we’ve seen above it is important to understand the complexity of our muscles exercise routine to obtain the desired results when designing our gym routine.

==> Please comment on this post and add more value to it if you can <==

Is it important to understand the structure of our muscles? Most importantly, how important is it to understand the structure of our muscles in relation to our muscles exercise routine, Repetition, sets, tempo and so on?

Muscles as we know are formed by either a slow-contract structure or a fast-contract structure, one wise thing to do when deciding the muscles exercise technique we are going to adopt is to find out the type of structure a muscle is made of, for example a muscle made of high level of slow-contracts structure reacts more favorably to high Repetitions, so high level of slow-contracts structured muscles are more adequately trained in the 15 or over repetitions to allow the muscle to be enough time under pressure. On the other hand fast-contracts structured muscles are more responsive to lower numbers of repetitions and are more adequately trained in the 6 to 12 repetitions.

So how do you decide your muscle structure for any given muscle? One way to find out the structure of a muscle is by determining the number of times you can lift a sub-maximal weight, for example if two people lift the same weight and one can lift it 5 times while the other one can lift it 15 times, the person who has lifted the weight 5 times has a fast-structured muscle while the other has a slow structure muscle, this type of test is particularly true for untrained or beginners folks.

==> What do you think about understanding the structure of the muscle? Your comments are important <==
